Spiral weld steel pipe, also known as “helical drill,” “double spiral screw,” or “conical pipe,” is a new type of mechanical processing equipment consisting of rotating body and transmission components. It can bend and shape steel billets into various specifications of threaded joints, internal threaded joints, round threaded joints, and hexagonal threaded joints through processes such as cold bending after heating the steel billets to a certain temperature, followed by bending and stretching. Spiral steel pipe is primarily made from rolled strip materials and formed through continuous warm extrusion, then welded using automatic double submerged arc welding. The spiral steel pipe feeds strip steel to the pipe welding unit. After multi-roller rolling, the strip steel can gradually be rolled up to form circular pipe blanks with gaps between the openings. Adjusting the number of extrusion rolls ensures that the gap between the welds is controlled at 1 to 3mm, with the ends of the welds aligned.
