Fire – resistant Performance
The gypsum – based indoor non – intumescent steel structure fire – resistant coating has the specification and model of GT – NSF – Fp3.00 – (SJS – 06).
| Fire – resistant Time | 1.5h | 2.0h | 2.5h | 3.0h | 4.0h |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coating Thickness | 16mm | 21mm | 26mm | 30mm | 40mm |
- This coating has passed the inspection by the “National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Fire – resistant Building Materials” and has been certified by the Fire – fighting Product Conformity Assessment Center of the Ministry of Emergency Management. Depending on different requirements, the fire – resistant time of this coating can reach 1.5h, 2h, 2.5h, 3h, and 4.0h respectively.
- This coating belongs to the heat – insulating fire – resistant coating and is widely used in the heat – insulating layers of steel structures in high – rise buildings, petrochemical industries, oil tanks, tunnels, power facilities on walls, metallurgy, national defense, etc.
- This coating has strong adhesion, excellent corrosion – resistance and fire – resistant performance, thus providing heat – insulating protection to the steel structure in case of fire.
Construction Methods
- Before construction, clean the construction surface, removing all oil stains, rust, and dust.
- Pour the powder into an appropriate amount of water and stir thoroughly. Spray the well – stirred coating within 30 minutes.
- It can be sprayed to the coating thickness required by the standard in one pass.
- Spraying: Use an air compressor and a special spray gun. The outlet pressure is about 0.4 Mpa.
- The construction environment temperature should be above 5℃, and the humidity should be less than 80%. The powder in bags must be protected from moisture and rain. It is advisable to store it in a dry and ventilated place. The storage time should not exceed 6 months. If it clumps, it cannot be used.
- The physical and chemical properties curing period is 30 days, and the fire – resistant performance curing period is 40 days.
Characteristics
- It does not contain asbestos and organic solvents.
- It can be directly sprayed for construction, with a fast drying and curing speed.
- The coating is lightweight, has a firm adhesion, high strength, and superior anti – corrosion performance.
- It has excellent fire – resistant and weather – resistant properties. For outdoor use, a fire – resistant coating must be applied.
- If necessary, the base material can be left without anti – corrosion treatment.
Precautions
During the construction process and before the coating is dry and cured, the ambient temperature should preferably be maintained between 5℃ and 45℃, the relative humidity should not be greater than 85%, and the air should be circulated. When there is condensation on the surface of the component, construction is not advisable. During the construction process, pay attention to measuring the thickness of the coating at any time according to the fire – resistant limit. This product is a water – based fire – resistant coating. Therefore, whether during the construction process or after the construction is completed, the coating should be indoors or in a rain – shelter to avoid being rained on. Do not let the powder get damp; the prepared coating must be used up within 30 minutes.
