It uses a metal frame as the supporting structure, and the glass panels are connected to the periphery of the metal frame. For example, some of Zhengdian’s exposed – frame glass curtain wall products use high – strength aluminum alloy profiles as the frame. The glass is fully embedded in the profile grooves. The aluminum alloy profiles not only act as the skeleton structure but also fix the glass. It has a traditional and classic appearance, is widely used, and has reliable performance. While in the hidden – frame and semi – hidden – frame forms, the metal frame is hidden behind the glass or partially hidden, making the building appearance more concise and smooth, enhancing the overall aesthetics.
Point – supported Glass Curtain Wall
It consists of glass panels, point – supporting devices, and a supporting structure. In this type of curtain wall, Zhengdian often uses stainless – steel tie rods, cables, or steel pipes as the supporting structure, and the glass is fixed to it through metal connectors. This can create a transparent and lightweight visual effect, enabling the maximum visual integration of indoor and outdoor spaces. All – glass Curtain Wall
It is composed of glass ribs and glass panels, with the glass itself serving as the load – bearing component to bear its own weight and wind load.
