Characteristics:
Relatively High Strength: The spiral weld structure of spiral steel pipe endows them with good compressive and bending resistance capabilities. When subjected to external pressure, the spiral welds can distribute the pressure to all parts of the steel pipes. Compared with longitudinally welded steel pipes, they can withstand greater pressure in some application scenarios. For example, they perform well in building structure supports and some medium and low-pressure pipeline transportation systems.
Good Cost-effectiveness: Due to its relatively simple manufacturing process, especially in large-scale production, the utilization rate of raw materials is relatively high and the production speed is fast. Therefore, spiral steel pipe has certain advantages in terms of cost. In some projects that are relatively sensitive to cost and do not have extremely high requirements for the performance of steel pipes, such as the construction of ordinary municipal water supply and drainage pipelines, spiral steel pipes are an economical and practical choice.
Diverse Specifications: It is capable of producing steel pipes with different diameters, wall thicknesses and lengths to meet various engineering needs. Customized spiral steel pipes with different specifications can be produced according to the specific requirements of projects, ranging from steel pipes with smaller diameters used in indoor pipeline systems to large-diameter steel pipes used in large projects such as cross-sea pipelines.
